When are they going to do one a bit closer…let’s say Nova Scotia???

Hey Igor,
Apparently they wanted to make it there… It was either Nove-Scotia or Tofino…but what I heard from very good sources is that the guys who owned the land where they wanted to do it in Halifax didn’t want to give them access… he actually ask O’neill to buy the land at a ridiculous prices to have the access… For sure it turned off O’neill. Tofino was offering their waves, turf & his access for free… + it’s way more consistent for an international surf contest of this size.
Well, this is all what I heard & blas blas… I do not know the details of all this…
If this is right…What an idiot this guy is…

The good part of it is that he’s keeping off the radar some really sick surf spots… maybe that was the real intention behind it… who knows?1?
